Even as we were arriving, you could tell: Something very special was going to happen here this weekend.. The entire Brandnertal valley was noticeably transformed into ALPIN8. Amid glorious weather and perfect conditions, a diverse, highly motivated community of 300 participants gathered.
Mountain enthusiasts traveled from 9 different countries —even from the U.S.! About 30 of them were returning participants, who knew exactly how much passion had gone into this event. Whether in the parking lot, at the ski lifts, or at the lodging facilities: the local support on site was overwhelming and full of warmth .

It’s the moment when the world is still asleep, the mountain mist drifts gently through the fir trees, and the first rays of sunlight turn the peaks pink. At exactly 5:00 a.m., at dawn, the starting signal is given. . A wave of anticipation, awe, and focused energy begins to move.
From the very first meter, ALPIN8’s true character became apparent: not a cutthroat competition, but pure, supportive camaraderie. Every step was shared, every smile returned, every helping hand gratefully accepted.
At the midway station, the mood was consistently excellent and the atmosphere was motivating.. Those who made it to the top were rewarded at Summit Camp not only with a fantastic view, but also with excellent food – the perfect oasis to recharge your batteries for the next climb.
A real sensation and highlight of the weekend was host Bine—now affectionately known to everyone as “Motivational Bine” .
Bine masterfully completed her very own Everesting challenge: She stood at the microphone for an incredible 34 hours straight ! With tireless energy, a personal touch, and pure enthusiasm, she cheered on every single participant by name as they crossed the finish line.. She was the emotional powerhouse who kept the energy at its peak day and night.

As the day draws to a close and the summit is bathed in warm, golden hues, the time has come for the first finishers. During this ” Golden Hour,” the first runners arrived at Summit Camp to cheers.

In the quiet Alpine night, a steady stream of brave headlamps made their way up the mountain.
Just like every year, the avenue lined with flags at the finish line was an absolute heart-fluttering moment.. When your legs are burning and you’re gasping for breath, the community’s cheers carry you through this colorful sea of flags right across the finish line. The atmosphere at Summit Camp during the final crossings of the finish line was simply amazing—there was clapping, cheering, and tears of joy..

The ALPIN8 Everesting is much more than just a running event—it’s a place to connect, a place to push your limits, and a gathering spot for people who love the mountains and life.
